@deadwood I have two of these (Z440) and one did not come with a card. I had forgotten that one did come with a stock device. Stock = NVIDIA GK107 GL [Quadro K420] : VESA Works (no mouse pointer). Testing = NVIDIA G72 {Geforce 7300 LE] : Native Works.

In the past I had problems installing with the pendrive created "only" with installAROS, then I didn't try anymore, I don't know if anything has changed since then, I did a test on the fly now, and it actually works fine. I have to check if AROS One also installs "completely" as the folders are the same as in the Build, this way I avoid using the script!

deadwood if I understand correctly, amigamia would like to create a Live Pendriver "suitable for installing AROS on HD", the Pendriver created by VirtualBox or other VM does not allow you to do this. To create a Pendriver "suitable for installing AROS" I use a particular Script created by Paolone which I then modified so that it would also work on AROS One!

@amigamia Thanks, I added you to the list. Do you have a 32-bit or 64-bit CPU in that D520? As for bootable USB, the fastest way for me is doing it via install from AROS LiveCD via VirtualBox. 30 seconds and it's done.

I mean I tested this with VESA mode, which supports only software 3D. For hardware 3D we'd need a native driver for the radeon chip.

As it is written on HCL, we are quite strong with hardware of 2010 era and that's a good starting point. The goal is definitely to support newer hardware as these 2010 era machines become less available second-hand. The last column shows the number of people active in this thread who have specific hardware 2) I purchased Fujitsu Futro S720 and ASUS M2N68-AM SE2. For Thinkpad T60, the touchpad and nipple do not respond. I'll, eventually, investigate with a USB mouse. Other machines, I own, also have this issue; but are not common machines. That is what I have tested for now. I test more soon. I also have the Acer AspireOne ZG5 (tested by others).
