I currently work on a new version of my distribution. There will be two versions, one with Scalos as desktop, the other with Magellan. I like both but in my view Scalos is more "Amiga" than Magellan. Here a screenshot showing Scalos desktop, picture showed by Multiview, defined in def-icon (GlowIcon) as default tool.

I am currently further improving both versions. Both are now polished regarding icons. Magellan looking more traditional whereas the Scalos version has OS4 theme and will get AOS4 style icons. If i look at the reactions on Facebook it is obvious that there is much more interest in Scalos with OS4 look & feel

I don't want to be controversial, but to show you that Magellan with AROS needs correction to be supported well by AROS 68k/x86, look at the screenshot, when you move an window it creates graphical artefacts in the background, if you view by Name the folders are not visible (here you simply have to change the colour of the folders if you can do it).

Dopus4 conflicts and works badly, Guru and problems with using the "ConfigOpus" doesn't work well, if you want I can find other bugs of Magellan on AROS 68k.

You intervened on my request for Wanderer, discrediting Wanderer in order to publicise Magellan! This is not correct.
Consequently, I have shown you that Magellan with AROS has many more problems, which you do not want to admit.

a small update... I also work on distributions based on 3.1 where I take over the extensive desktops from aros 68k. I am currently working on a distribution using magellan based on a 3,.1 and P96 installation, already added some nice components like magic menu and powerwindows and added stuff like ahi, xad, xfd, whdload and so on. i am very happy currently with it. On long run I want a whole range of distributions covering most options on 68k (including aros and 3.1, UAE, PiStorm and V4) but also planned are versions Aros X86 native and the combination with Linux, all based on desktops Scalos and magellan.

Update again. I work on a new version, hopefully really final. Still WIP but already very far. It includes both configured magellan and scalos desktops btetween user can easy change. Also theme (3.1 and 4) can be used and icon sets can be changed (glow icons and OS4 style icons). Of course lots of other stuff and a full configured environment. I hope this will be out this year and most will be happy with it. Some other announcements might follow. After this I will start with the 3.1 based versions using same desktops and concepts

currently I continue with update. New is you can also change to wanderer. Now users have the choice to use scalos, magellan and wanderer. I am currently updating scalos. Here example showing scalos with arexx testscript executed that controls ranchero commodity to show a message, similar to windows.
