Can you check if you can run WCS in VESA mode or only in native mode?

Check that the icon is of type "Tools", on Aros unfortunately you cannot change the icon type, delete the icon and recreate it from Dopu4 Or, if the file "WCS.Prefs" exists, delete it !

retrofaza what problems did you experience with WCS, on VirtualBox 7.0.4 ? on AROS One it starts without any problems !

deadwood IconEditor works very well with 26.22

deadwood seems to be doing very well, I tried about ten Hollywood Applications, among them the two most sensitive ones like RNOTune and IconEditor.
