My athlonXP and celeron are 32-bit only CPU so no 64-bit on that Smile

On 64-bit AROS you will not get accelerated 3D on nVidia cards for now, so currently the only accelerated 3D is on hostgl unfortunatelly.

I cannot test Adoom3 on athlonXP (crash) I think CPU is missing some fundamental instruction, I have another motherboard with a celeron I'll try there to test it on my Geforce 6600GT AGP

FYI, the fix for SDL has been made, but it was a more general fix to how includes are generated. In order to apply it, please update AROS sources and rebuild AROS and contrib. There is no need to rebuild toolchain.

This library is only for 64-bit so won't be useful for existing distributions.

deadwood, SDL.library is only for testing, or it can be used as an update distribution

Here is "fixed" SDL.library. I still need to understand why the problem happened and push a proper fix into repository.

Unfortunately the graphic corruption of the logo is still there, so this is not Mesa headers problem.

@deadwood - Ok, can you share the binary - I will try to find out what the problem is.

Which datafiles are neeed for AROS version? On GoG there are "two" DOOM3. The original one and the "remastered" BFG edition.

I've used .pk4 from my old Doom3 DVD and the files downloaded with 1.31 patch for linux found on FAQ of dhewm3 git:
https://github.co...e-required

P.S. I saw I cannot attach tar.gz files Smile

BTW, if anyone is missing DOOM3 files for the game, right now there is a promo on GoG where you can get DOOM3 for 50% price.

@deadwood

The good news is: it will compile
The bad news is: it's crashing on SDL.Library :-/

I've attached a screenshot (I don't rally know how to fix this)

I know where this problem comes from but it should already be fixed in latest source codes. Please try building from repo clone.

Thanks, that will be interesting. Let me know if you run into any troubles compared to ABIv0

I'm trying to compile core-contrib, ffmpeg (both 3.0.1 and 4.0.2) fail compilation with this error

Any ideas?
I'm using directly the ABIv11 20230430-1 source, I'm going to clone main repo to use latest code to see if will also fail
