I spoke to Alfred Faust who is in charge of porting Bars&Pipes the famous midi sequencer born on the amiga classic and still relevant today for its power, he told me that a driver connecting the poseidon.library to the camd.library is missing, can anyone do something about this

thanks

Ok, try this one:

https://hitchhikr...driver.zip

To install it:

- Delete any file present in the devs:midi directory (probably just "debugdriver"Wink.
- Copy the file "mididriver" into devs:midi directory.
- Reboot.

In the archive there are 2 tools:

- "ShowClusters" will show the midi ports of the driver.
- "MidiWatch" will monitor a given port as argument (usually mididriver.in.0 or mididriver.out.0).

@hitchhikr

Thanks hitchhikr, if I am authorized I will include "MidiDriver" on the new AROS One 2.4 !
I also created a folder "MidiDriverTools" where I included all the contents of your archive !

Do whatever you want with it.

The 2 utilities are coming from Amiga OS4 and are available among others on Aminet: http://aminet.net.../camdtools I just adapted those 2 to AROS for testing purposes.
