attention on win 7 rufus is obsolete

Rufus up to version 3.20 works perfectly with Win7.

The new 4.x versions of Rufus on the contrary, as reported by "Amigamia" do not support native AROS images well.

AMIGASYSTEM

What tool(s) do you use to make the bootable ISO for AROS One x86 ? Mkisofs or something else? How do you remake the ISO ?

On Win7 Rufus works up to version 3.x, as said on other forum version 3.x is the best for AROS USB Images

The VirtualBox HD image is not compatible with Rufus, your VirtualBox image yours conversion, to make it compatible to Rufus may not work well, Rufus uses its own bootloader which is different than the one created by VirtualBox.

at the moment the reference build remains this one unless major changes are made, so it is called LTS all the best of the software is present of course for some purposes we still have to fill in some gaps but we will see later

Alternative installation added on my siteSmile

the alternative installation is very simple, you have to download the reference build and burn it, you also have to download the system files and unpack them on the stick that will be used later, proceed with the installation of the build after booting, at the end insert the usb key and overwrite all the files on the "AROS" partition, you can reboot

there will be a transition to 64 bit, I will still distribute Tiny Aros in 32 bit, many computers can be used with the current software and the technologies made available, if there are big changes in the transition, a 64 bit version of Tiny Aros could be considered

Only if these requirements are met will there be a 64-bit Tiny Aros

1 stack-tcp update
2 gallium update
3 new compiler
4 hollywood 64-bit

Thanks to all developersLike
