Ouch, a $10000+ bounty is pretty steep.
For perspective, the Odyssey bounty project raised $7,657 within a few short weeks. According to online inflation calculators, this sum would equal $10,000 today.

Is it worth putting the request for pledges on somewhere like Amigaword to see if there's any interest from a wider audience? Even then It's unfortunately hard to see that much being raised.
I think it is worth considering who outside of the core AROS x86/x64 user base would benefit.
There has been a multi-year attempt to port the version of the Webkit engine used by Wayfarer to another operating system that is technologically similar to AROS and runs on PowerPC hardware. I believe the original plan was to port the browser engine first and then build a new custom web browser on top from scratch.
To the best of my knowledge, this project has not produced any tangible results for end users just yet.
I think it is fair to assume that the involved developers would get a major head start if they had access to the source code of an AROS port of the entire Wayfarer web browser and all of its required dependencies.
As a reminder, here is a the description of the Odyssey bounty project:
Quote
The aim of this project is to license a current version of the full-featured Odyssey Web Browser and share it under an open source license so it can be ported to AmigaOS and AROS.
In addition, there is 68k-compatible hardware out there that is sometimes already being shipped with some version of AROS. As long as these devices include at least 512 MB of memory, running Wayfarer in some capacity is at least somewhat feasible. Getting Wayfarer ported to AROS on x86/64 would make make it a lot more likely that a modern web browser could be brought to these other platforms running AROS.
Last but not least, it is interesting to note that
all funding efforts that targeted current or former owners of Commodore systems and managed to raise 5 or even 6-figure sums involved some
physical component that could be obtained by paying a certain minimum amount of money. Given the 'high' funding goal for the project, some may find the following to be counter-intuitive: However, raising the total by a few percentage points in order produce a limited edition "Wayfarer" box set for all donors who donate at least, say, ~$105 may add appeal to the many who would appreciate a memento of their contribution and have a general interest in collecting physical items that are connected to their computer hobbies,
Anyway, just some food for though.
