Sorry, but the possibility of using Aros as my main system is very rewarding. Please be patient.

I tried the services you mentioned, but they don't work. Among other things, I'm using 32-bit Aros because with OWB at 64 bit I can copy and paste the links I need. I'm also using an Acer Aspire One ZG5. Thank you, all the best.

Don't worry about that @Amiwell79 . It is difficult to find services that AROS is able to work with.

I hope you don't mind me having stored your distribution somewhere else as I can imagine it interfering with possible statistics.

Although also only a temporary filehost service, does https://www.sendg... work for you with AROS ? (please ignore the requests for filling in informational details because all can be skipped).

It could perhaps be a good alternative for transfer.it (which I assume does not work well with AROS).

Sorry about ADRIVE, but I'm using Aros and it's the only site I can use as a cloud.

I checked, TinyAROS 32 and 64 bit work fine, no errors on system startup or on VMware or VirtualBox.

@mattson62

If you haven't made any changes to TinyAROS, download the TinyAROS archives again, perhaps from the magorium link, and try again.

If the problem persists, attach your VirtualBox Hardfile so we can examine it.

Your link works well, already downloaded in just a few minutes!

The link to the two TinyAROS zipfiles is located here

If you view the contents of the link then you can select an individual zipfile from it if that has your preference.

I did not use an account for uploading so the link stays active for maximal 90 days and do note that if transfer.it is busy it will also limit the download speed (in which case try another moment to download as in my experience those dowload speed limits are usually short-lived but can sometimes last a couple of hours)

It seems that ADrive limits itself to 300-400kbps per download so there is nothing wrong with your connection AMIGASYSTEM, it is just limiting the download-speed. I had the additional issue that just before finishing the second download halted 2 times so had to redo the download again because ADrive also does not seem to support to resume a download.

Please feel free to let me know in case this link does not work for you (in which case I try to find another file-host that allows an anonymous upload)

Yes, thank you. Even though I have a very high-speed fibre network, I can't download them very quickly. I was curious to understand and solve the problem on TinyAROS, just to help Amiwell!

@AMIGASYSTEM:
I just finished downloading both 32 and 64 bit versions of TinyAROS from ADrive (yes, it was indeed a struggle :-) )

I can upload them for you to something like transfer.it if you want ?

No, VirtualBox does not generate that type of error. It is definitely a problem with incorrect commands in the startup. Trust me!

Your ADrive server is not working. I have been trying to download TinyAROS for four hours now. Surely no one will be able to download it...

---- Italiano ---

It works natively, so the problem is VirtualBox.

Amiwell, the error encountered by mattson62 is not due to VirtualBox but probably to an incorrect command in your user-startup or another script that is executed when Wanderer starts up.

I can't check your TinyAROS because the ADrive server is incredibly slow, too slow to even attempt a download, use Google Driver, which is very fast.

I also had problems with VirtualBox and the 64-bit version. I haven't tried the 32-bit version. Right now, I don't have any systems I can try it on.

Hi, the main ISO is the one found on axrt.org. The rest are distribution files to be loaded onto a USB stick and overwritten.

@Amiwell79 Have received any feedback about this at TinyAROS boot up? "IF:wrong number of arguments" and the next line reads"CD:wrong number of arguments" these 2 line shows up just before the desktop shows up during boot process! Thanks for any help! By the way, my TinyAros install is on virtualbox! Smile

Back to the services I can use from Aros. The download problem is due to ArosTCP. There is no such problem with Windows and Linux.

Unfortunately, I can't do the full ISO, but installation is simple. First, you need to start the latest available build, install it, and then copy the core package to the system partition. Then you can reboot.
