Just tried a resume from new OWB and got the error attached. This is native on my Samsung n130.

Cheers,
Nigel.

Can you post the site and the link to the file you are downloading so we can do some tests too?

A couple of questions:

a) What distribution you are using?
b) What is your version of crt.library and muimaster.library
c) What file were you downloading?
d) Does it happen each time you try to resume?
c) Does it happen for every file you try to resume?
e) Do a test: Start a different download, abort it, go to failed and click retry. Do you get this error?

To answer the first few questions:

(a) AroxOne 2.5
(b) crt.library is 3.2, muimaster.library is 19.57
(c) The file was AROS-20240726-amiga-69k-contrib-tar.bz2 (bascially I just picked a fairly big file to try out abort and resume)

For (d) to (e) I'll have to give those a ty thi evening.

Cheers,
Nigel.

Just tr4ied again with thid PDF: https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/BTEC-Higher-Nationals/engineering-for-england/2024/specification/9781292448473-btec-hn-l4-l5-engin-engl-iss1.pdf

After aborting the download, I went to 'failed; and tr4ied to resume; OWN complained it could not overwrite teh existing fie., Selecting the file again from the webpage and trying resume led to a fatal OWB error.

Cheers,
Nigel.

This might be an odd request, but would you think it would be possible to use the aros shell for tab completion and start Linux/AROS programs? I haven't found anything like it, and Linux/Windows tab completion drives me nuts when I compare them with the speed and usability of king con.

I've just tried a download again of one of the nightlies. Started the download, aborted and went back to the download page. I was given the option to resume and selected that but it seemed to rever back to the start (0% downloaded) and a few moments later the error attached below occured,

This was again native on my Samsung n130.

Sorry,
Nigel.

It was just one of the nightly builds - https://sourceforge.net/projects/aros/files/nightly2/20240801/Binaries/AROS-20240801-sam440-ppc-contrib.tar.bz2/download.

Cheers,
Nigel.
