Fantatic news, but this is for Linux hosted? Any thoughts on when a native version might be released?

Many thanks,
Nigel.

2025.

It is going to be a gradual process though, first targetting VirtualBox and VMWare and specific hardware later.

Thanks - I'll look forwards to trying it out next year :-)

Cheers,
Nigel.

P.S. is there any communication with the auhor of Hollywood? As AROS 64 bit is the future I'd really hope for Hollywood AROS to go 64 bit as well.

Not at this moment, but that's something that also should happen next year. Alternativelly we will go through 32-bit emulation.

On the Hollywood 'wish list' forum I'll pop up a message highlighting the developments in 64 bit AROS and asking for a 64 bit Hollywood for AROS to be added to the wish list.

Cheers,
Nigel.

Good idea. You might need to explain the ABIv11 vs ABIv1 as the Holywood author might still assume there is no stability in 64-bit,

Umm, OK, slightly embarassing - I'm not sure I understand the situation properly re. 1 vs 1.1. So 1.1 is the stable branch?

Cheers,
Nigel.
