deadwood, I don't know if this is my problem, but with OWB 2.0/2.1 I have found that some downloads do not download, or download partially, and in the gui in the filenames you can see strange fonts.

The problem should occur if you download files from arosarchive, for example "raygui.i386-aros.zip".

It seems, but I may be wrong, that this problem occurs when the file names incudes the dot (.)

Also is it possible to resolve Gmail login with new owb , I don't mean iPhone option not great experience just normal aa I. To be able to login and download attachments and view my incoming emails.

Serk, you can use Gmail through the Yahoo interface as I described here:

Downloading and sending attachments works.

@AMIGASYSTEM

I will check if I get the same behavior
EDIT: I tried downloading the file you mentioned several times on both 32-bit and 64-bit version and each time the file was downloaded correctly. Which network drivers are you using and were you doing something else with network (like watching YT) when the file was downloading?

@serk118uk

If OWB 1.26 keeps working for you for github than that's good there is a workaround. From what I read from MorphOS forums people have issues with Github even with much Wayfarer versions having much newer WebKit engine so Github seems to be very picky.

@deadwood

Unfortunately it doesn't happen all the time, sometimes it works fine, I enclose a short video, I used a clean updated Build.

The test is on WMware, but 1.26 has never given me this problem!

Ok, I see what you mean now. If I'm able to replicate this, I will fix it in future versions. For now I submited a bug report:

Just a thought - is it worth sharing the news of the OWB 2 on Hackaday.com? On that site they do have articles on alternative operating systems (they feature Haiku quite regularly, but it looks like the last AROS report was back in 2015) and often bemoan the lack of choice in web browsers. Also of course a good way to spread the news of the developments in AROS over the last few years :-)

Cheers,
Nigel.

Sure, go ahead! Reading from your description this site is a good target. The more news outside of Amiga community, the better Like

If it helps, the same problem occurs with mui-aylet (found on aros archive)

Thanks - I'll add it to their 'tips' page where you can submit news items.

Cheers,
Nigel.
