Thanks to Farox & Deremon, ‘FastTracker II Clone’ has been ported to AROS 64-bit!

There are lots of new features in the new version of AROS One 64-bit, including emulation of 32-bit Hollywood software.

On AROS One 64bit, there will be a folder in Extras called AROS 32bit where you can launch them with a simple click on the Applications icon.

For the various emulations, shortcuts have been created on the BoingIconBar where you can launch the various emulations directly from the binary or through scripts to launch the applications or games directly.

For 32-bit, as already mentioned in other posts, it will be possible to launch supported Hollywood applications. All 32-bit software is located in a special folder named AROS-32Bit, see screenshot.

Looks really good @AMIGASYSTEM. The new version will be a major step up in terms of usability I think Smile

Thank you. If there are no new developments or updates coming for Core and Emuv0, I may build and distribute the new version of AROS One 64Bit v1.3 next week.

Thanks also to all the developers who have made it possible for AROS One to grow and improve!

I'm not planning any further updates to Core or EmuV0 right now so it should be ok to release distribution now.

I am attaching a small Update/Fix archive for AROS One v1.3 64bit that includes some improvements.
This archive is not suitable or useful for previous versions of AROS One.

Update:
- Update broadcom4400.device
- Amiberry script (replaces the ‘duplicate’ binary)
AmiberryPlayer will save a config file in the Amiberry folder each time it is run.
Subsequently, if Amiberry is run from the binary, it will load the previously saved config file.
The script will solve this problem by deleting the config file before running Amiberry.

Be careful not to confuse the names: Amiberry is the script, Amiberry.exe is the executable.

Fix:
This script will delete unnecessary folders and files that were copied by mistake!

I would like to point out that on AROS 64bit v11, the new version 0.9 of MUIMapparium and AmiTranslate do not work correctly because they require AmiSSL, which does not exist for AROS 64bit v11.

The new version 0.9 of MUIMapparium for ABiv0, on the other hand, works perfectly!

I see that many have downloaded the v1.3 upgrade. I hope there have been no problems!

I found a nice article on the web (generationamiga.com) about AROS One 64bit v11 that highlights all or almost all of the improvements in this latest version!

Don't get me wrong, it's good to see the exposure and it's well deserved. But does the copy sound quite AI-esque? I don't see anyone's name attached to it after all.

It is certainly the result of IE, but there are details that suggest human intervention. In any case, what is important is that it is discussed and disseminated so that it becomes known outside the Amiga/Aros environment.

I noticed that too. Sometimes you have to click several times on the window for it to work. I think it's set to DoubleClick.

Click to front works well, but it is set to “Double Click” because a single click caused problems, in many cases automatically overlapping other windows.

If you want to set a single click in Tooltypes, set the value to 1.

The new version of Prince of Persia SDL2 by retrofaza is available in the upcoming release of AROS One 64-bit!

This version of Prince of Persia is certainly much more impressive than the Amiga version, offering hardware acceleration, the option to choose the aspect ratio, full-screen mode and many other features not found in the Amiga version.

I have installed the new version 53.5 of NTFS-3G on AROS One; the NTFS-3G file system is located in the Storage folder and can be enabled or disabled using a dedicated script, see screenshot!

From the talented Juan comes a tool for playing and converting audio files; it’s called A.C.M. and was developed in Hollywood.

A.C.M. is also compatible with AROS One 64-bit via EmuV0 and supports numerous formats such as: XM, MED, DBM, HVL, S3M, SID, AC3, AIFF, FLAC, M4A, WMA, OGG, WAV, 8SVX.

As mentioned, as well as being a player, it allows you to convert all the formats listed into 8SVX, WAV or MP3, but for some formats such as: XM, MED, S3M, SID, the conversion takes a very long time – I’d say it’s endless – and the converted files are enormous in size; they are probably repetitive music formats..
