4 years agoI can confirm it does not boot as a mounted ISO on Virtual Box either.
Error: FATAL Could not read from the boot medium! System halted.

4 years agoNo such luck nikos. I downloaded the .rar file, extracted the iso and mounted on VirtualBox as I have done many times with Aspire Os and other OS. It won't boot. Skipping the media and the CD/DVD player.

4 years agoAmigamia: That looks right. AspireOS 2,1 is only for real hardware like this laptop.

4 years agoAmigamia: It is from optical disk you try to boot right?
Some times I had to try many times before Grub showed up. If you get some error you can can try to type exit, and you will get to the grub menu.

4 years agonikos! Got my USB stick today. Thank you so very much. I was able to install it after a few attempts to do it the right way. Now I am just waiting for the wireless card so I can download all other software etc.

4 years agoTried Quake shortly and it is blazing fast!! Going to have to add some extra software though. What is in the top 10 for AROS? OWB? Janus-UAE? Oh I also noticed there were games in AspireOS 2.0 that are not part of 2.1. Was that intentional?
