SSL update for old Browser

Hi everyone, because my old OW browser is the only one running on my system, I would be happy if it could also display SSL-protected pages.
Unfortunately, installing a new Aros version is not an option, as it does not support the shutdown or restart function.

I am using icaros desktop owb 1.25. It sees Amiga-style websites, but in the network options I have to choose Opera 12 and update the certificates.

That won't be any SSL update for that old browser version. Possibly there is some option in it to disable SSL errors.

About your hardware - why the lack of shutdown/restart prevents you from installating newer version? In worst scenarion you can just power down your computer by button after a few seconds of disk inactivity.

tommyw, that build is prehistoric. Hundreds of fixes and improvements have been made to the new builds. Install the latest version. If you want all the programmes pre-installed, download a distribution. You shouldn't have any problems installing my Aros One, I attach lik

Yes, that's correct, but in The new Versions unfortunately the restart and shutdown functions via mouse click don't work. And that bothers me.

Which click are you talking about? You can take a screenshot!

From the Wanderer menu, you can execute ‘Shut down...’ with a mouse click.

If you are using AROS One, you will find the icon to execute ‘Shutdown’ in the System folder.

You shouldn't have any problems if you press the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys and shut down the system when it resets. That's what I do on my laptop.

Look at my First posting, there‘ s a picture of this error.
When using the menu option.
It is on AROS one also in the newest nightly build i368.

@tommyw

Have you tried the ‘Shutdown’ application from AROS One? That app executes the ‘Reboot’ command.

I want to make it clear that I will stick with the prehistoric Aros version, because only this one allows my hardware to shut down and restart properly and is also friendlier, in my opinion. The shutdown button on Aros One doesn’t work either (black screen). Besides, I don’t like the look of Aros One and it doesn’t appeal to me in any other way either.
Topic: All other browser versions don’t even start here, that’s just how it is; apart from Aminet and Google or Aros.org, nothing works here – I would have liked to have had the Archives.Arosworld.org as well, oh well, you can’t have everything.
