As for FAT32, I haven’t noticed any difference compared to SFS; essentially, the same issues occur as those shown in the attached video:

FT2Clone cannot be used as a tool unless the “CLI” parameter is used in Tooltypes, but this in turn cannot load the configuration file FT2.CFG.

Even with my script on FAT32, the mod runs if the folder contains no spaces, just as happens with SFS.

I am attaching my ‘PlayMOD’ script and def_Icons; the script must be located in ‘S’ and must have the ‘S’ flag, whilst def_MOD.info, def:XM.info, and def_S3M.info must have “PlayMOD” set as the tool and ‘CLI’ in Tooltypes

--- Italiano ---

Well seems we found two different bugs.
One for Aros FAT filesystem (i described above) and your that regards FT2-clone used to load a song from def_icon.
If you could attach your script i look at it and try to fix if i can.

Question: How did you launch the module? Did you use the FT2-Clone icon as the tool? Was the config file loaded? (e.g. a background setting)

I should point out that if you load the module internally via the FT2-Clone GUI, the problem does not occur; the module loads correctly even from folders containing spaces. The issues I mentioned only arise if FT2-Clone is used as the module’s icon tool

I can make detailed videos if needed! If you’d like to test the scripts and def_icon, I can attach them here

I found that FT2-clone seems to access and load fine a module inside a dir with a space in the name (into a SFS filesystem) ...but not on a FAT filesystem.
I don't have your script to test from def_icon, so don't know if it's ok.

I created a dir with a name that contain a space into the name in RAM: copied a mod file into it, and loading from it seems fine.

Instead the same operations inside a FAT filesystem is wrong, it create a directory (with space in name) that is seen as a drive...attached is two shots...that show it.

I would like to add that if the FT2Clone executable is used directly as a tool in Tooltypes, the module is only executed if the CLI parameter is used, but the configuration file is not loaded.

If, on the other hand, the default WB parameter is used in Tooltypes, the configuration file is loaded whilst the module is not.

For this reason, I have created a script tool so that both the module and the configuration file are loaded.

--- Italiano ---

I’ve encountered a minor issue when setting FT2Clone as a tool in Tooltypes.

Basically, I created a small ‘tool script’ and the corresponding def_icons that allow me to associate and run MOD, XM and S3M files with FT2Clone directly by clicking on the Modules icon.

Everything works fine, but if the folder containing the Module files contains spaces, the Module is not detected.

-- Italiano --
