selco to connect aros with linux the internal protocol of aros does not work you have to use SMB2 which has been available recently there is also a gui for it

I have a problem with Samba...

A virtual Box is running Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy.
On that Ubuntu I have a Samba share. That share is accessible from a real remote Amiga using Olsen's smbfs (https://aminet.net/package/comm/tcp/smbfs-68k) and from Windows on the same computer. So Samba is set up correctly on this side.

I use Aros i386 and AROS x86-84 compiled from deadwoos's git repository.
There I can configure Samba in Prefs -> Network.

With the i386 version I get a samba volume. I can cd into that new volume and see the files and directories on the share.
Nice - but ALL names (files and directories) are missing the first character! So I cannot cd into a deeper directory and cannot for instance show (type) any textfiles.
So it looks like there is a small bug on the AROS Samba. Can anybody confirm that? Is there a fix or a work around? Swallowing the first character of each name should not be a configuration problem on my side.

With x86-84 I was unable to get a Samba connection at all.
