You need to post a screen shot of that message and if possible make the screen shot after clicking "More..." button.

Did you integrate 20241102 contrib into your installation? If so you overwrote AHI with old version - you need to copy AHI again from latest ISO.

@All

As you can see 32-bit version has been released today. Thank you to everyone who put in time in testing this release and making it great! Your help is appreciated!

FYI: from no on please keep this thread specific to upcoming 64-bit release. Any issues related to 32-bit version should be posted in new release thread.

@deadwood - Ok, good news - I was able to reproduce the problem. I'll be looking into it in the coming days.

OK thank you, note that the change of Themes (complete with wallpapers, pointers, Zune preferences etc..) work perfectly via the scripts on AROS One that I have attached, possibly if you run it from VMware you may encounter the problem on OWB "z1.library"

Regarding 32Bi, thank you too for the great work, with this new stable version I will build the new AROS One 2.8.

One more question with respect to that issue: are you getting them only after installation to disk or also when running system from ISO?

If you run Appearance from the ISO Full with Develpoment Extras, no problem,and no Guru.

On AROS One 32bit Appearance gives no problem even if it is installed "Full" on Hardisk

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I was asking about OWB/z1.library/curlThread crash, not Appearance crash. Do you get this OWB/z1.library/curlThread crash when using OWB launched from ISO?

Sorry I had read it wrong, OWB run from the ISO does not present the error "z1.library", after many sites visited only the Guru you see in the screenshot appeared!

So at this point the error z1.library on OWB could also be caused by the filesystem.

Hi All,

I prepared contrib archive for upcoming release:

https://axrt.org/development/AROS-20250314-D01-any-x86_64-contrib.tar.gz

There are only two changes, but they are major:
- native GCC updated to 10.5.0
- all software re-compiled with GCC 10.5.0

The suggested integration of new GCC is to delete existing Development directory and rebuild it from combination of Development from ISO and from contrib. This will make sure any GCC 6.5.0 leftovers are cleared and will no interefere with GCC 10.5.0

The new contrib I managed to unzip on AROS One with XADunfile, I don't know if you can tell me the exact size!

On Windows both 7-Zip and WinRAR show an error "Duplicate files".

I think the problem of the error of the Sound.datatype I copied HDAUDIO.Device and the drivers from the contribution package is solved

deadwood on both the 64Bit and 32bit Builds there is an old version of TextEditor.mcc v15.45, which does not allow you to run IconEditor which requires v15.48.

On Aros archive there is a recent version 1v5.56 that works fine

https://arosarchi...-15.56.lha

On Contrib 64 and 32 Bit there are still applications with problems

FileX = On 64Bit Guru exit programme, is an unregistered version (on Aminet Full version for OS3)
DTConvert = 64/32 Bit Does not work
CAMD = 64/32 Bit Guru
AMP2 = unregistered version
