29 days agoA tab bar has been created that will be very useful for those who want to keep files or folders handy without having to browse through folders or volumes on Wandere.
The AROS menu is fully configurable; you can add applications, folders, and custom volumes. It is available in 6 languages: Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, and Polish.
All preinstalled tabs—such as system folders and tabs for managing the GUI—have keyboard shortcuts available in all 6 languages.
The menu will also be available for AROS 32-bit, given how lightweight it is even on AROS 68k; it will be available for OS3 upon request.

A menu like that would be useful for the Raspberry Pi version of AROS.

I like that. I would use something like that. That's a great idea.

24 days agoArosMenu is available for download for 32-bit ABIv0 and 64-bit ABIv1164. As mentioned, some buttons are preconfigured; users can add applications, directories, or volumes depending on their specific tasks.
The default position is centered if you copy the ArosMenu.1.prefs file to Env-Archive/Zune; if you do not want to restart, you must also copy it to En/Zune.
Once ArosMenu.1.prefs has been copied, ArosMenu will automatically save the position and width of the GUI (which increases when buttons are added).
If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for improvement, simply report them or modify the source code as you see fit; the source code is in the public domain. It is important to leave the author’s credits intact.

3 hours agoArosMenu has seen a significant improvement—it now looks more professional, with adjustable color transparencies, just like the new BoingIconBar, where I'm adding the “Current Date” gadget and the “Sections” menu button!
