Another thing, I have the Caesar 3 CD. I need to install it on Windows first because just copying the files doesn't work.

Hi!
I've ported a new game: ArxLibertatis 1.2.1

Here is a quick description:

Arx Libertatis is a cross-platform port of Arx Fatalis, a first-person role-playing game

Arx Libertatis is based on the publicly released Arx Fatalis source code
(https://web.archive.org/web/20180105233341/https://www.arkane-studios.com/uk/arx_downloads.php).
The source code is available under the GPLv3+ license with some additional terms - see the
COPYING and LICENSE files for details.

Data file, config and savegame locations
==========================

You will need to get either the full game or demo data of Arx Fatalis (https://arx.vg/data).

Where arx will look for data files and write config and save files depends on the operating
system and environment - the wiki has a page detailing the full data directory detection algorithm
(https://arx.vg/paths).

To print all directories searched by arx, run

arx --list-dirs

By default, user, config and data files will be loaded from and saved to standard system
locations depending on the OS:

AROS:
- user dir:
PROGDIR:data/
PROGDIR:
- config dir:
PROGDIR:
- data dir:
PROGDIR:data/

Arx will try to load data files from the "user dir" directory or the directory containing the game executable.

If you need to run the game using data from another path start it from shell as:

stack 655360
 arx --no-data-dir --user-dir=DISK:path/to/game --config-dir=

or
 DISK:path/to/ArxLibertatis/arx --no-data-dir --user-dir=DISK:path/to/game --config-dir=DISK:path/to/ArxLibertatis

Run
====

Provided the data files are installed at the correct location (PROGDIR:data/), you can simply play the game using the installed icon or by running:

 stack 655360
 arx

See the arx --help and doc/arx.txt for more details.

Data Files
=======

Copy the data (.pak files, misc and graph directories), from a fully patched Arx Fatalis 1.21 or 1.22 install, into PROGDIR:data/ directory to use them with arx.

Recommended Setup
==============

Arx for AROS is recommended on *Native AROS* with a supported 3D card.
Using Arx on *Hosted AROS* requires a very fast PC and HostGL enabled.

It has been tested on:

- Core2Quad Q9500
Geforce 9500GT
SATA SSD
Native AROS
Result: Perfect

- Ryzen 5 4600H
Geforce 1650M
SATA SSD
Hosted AROS under native Linux
Result: Good with very rare sound crackling

- Intel N100
Integrated Intel Graphic
Hosted AROS under WSL
Result: Barely playable with major sound crackling and buffer underruns

Enjoy!

@AMIGASYSTEM - With AROS One 64-bit on VMware using a native driver, there are no issues—all four chapters: “Zombie Massacre,” “Gloom3,” “Gloom,” and “Gloom Deluxe” work well; no problems were detected.

I can confirm this issue as well, before putting the Geforce gfx card it was fine (I was running the integrated Intel HD), then now I have to launch the game twice, because the first time it quit itself after the first menu.

Updated to version 082006
https://archives....os-v11.zip

Additionally, a bug was fixed that caused a game selected from the menu to not always launch on the first attempt on some computers.
