BTW, I noticed .arospkg subdirectory. Are you already using Jonx's package manager? Did you set up your own channel for ABIv11 software? Or it this your own package manager? Is it online somewhere?

Haha, we didn't have package manager for 30 years. Now we have two on the same day. A little competition is good for quality of final product I think, so I'm looking software to seeing both on AROS Smile

I see you are taking into account different ABIs on the same CPU architecture. Thanks for that!

I'll trown in one more use case: 32-bit ABIv0

You can install this on 32-bit ABIv0 core system (the regular use case) OR
You can install this on 64-bit ABIv11/ABIv1 core system and run via EmuV0. In the second case however you don't want things to be installed in standard system directories (like LIBS: ). Things needs to be installed in SYSV0: and LIBSV0: - directories specific to how EmuV0 works.

So same binary on "server" but different location on "host" depending on what the host is Smile

Nice! I will check it out, and it's likely one more topic for me to talk with him Smile
I see that we have many similarities but also differences - I decided not to build my own distribution (for now) but rather extend the already existing aros archives/aminet; but indeed, for now we can keep two. We will just need to fight for the name.

And yes - ABI.

BTW if you are ready with your manager, maybe it makes sense to contact @retrofaza and @AMIGASYSTEM. Distributions are now being assembled based on 2026.09 release so you could get you client into them before the release.

I tested GrafX2, and immediately got a GURU error while I was exploring the AROS volume—as soon as I used the mouse wheel, the GURU appeared!
