I wrote a small program inspired by AveNTP to update the Raspberry Pi's system clock from the internet at system startup. It works Smile
I'll upload it to the archives.

I see the license listed in the archives is Freeware. Are you planning to make sources available so that when there are compatibility-breaking changes to ABIv1 in future someone else can re-compile the software? Smile

I noticed yesterday that there is already a similar program in the contrib package—it's called NTPSync or SyncNTP. It seems to be the same thing. I can certainly share my source code, but I don't think it's necessary anymore.
