How to begin? I'm from southern Finland, Porvoo - As someone born in 1992, I wasn't exactly arround at the right age when the Amiga was at its peak. My background in computers started properly more or less in the early 2000's with both Windows and Linux. Fascination towards older hardware and software has always been there but despite that, I have yet to even emulate an Amiga game to this day, despite looking into the subject countless times alongside at the local demo scene. Many times I've been interested to acquire an Amiga, but it always came down to price and that I didn't see myself using an A500 due to the lack of a hard drive and needing those expensive accelerator cards. These days though? Looks like we now got affordable hardware out there alongside the mods that I desire. Maybe I'll get that A500 now then.

When it comes to AROS, I've been looking on and off at this project over the years. Figured it would be great to finally jump in and give it a go

Still a bit early to tell. The platform in general feels "weird" as in it's different from what I'm used to

The new computers are out, only the live version you’re using works. I don’t know how old my computer is or when it came out, maybe 10 years ago, but it does its job. I only use AROS, I don’t even play games, it has a Xeon 5690 processor. Anyway, there’s a hardware compatibility list at

Hello! In my humble opinion, the Raspberry Pi port is a gamechanger, but not everyone has noticed yet ;-)
Seriously, at the moment, due to software deficiencies, there's not much you can do with the Raspberry Pi. AROS developers need a lot of support. Smile
