This is the speed you're getting on your Windows PC. Which internet service provider do you use?

Questa è la velocità che hai sul PC con Windows, che operatore utilizzi ?

Well, it's not that low it's actually pretty decent for AROS! On Amigapage, you were talking about kbps, not Mbps they're two different units of measurement

We're waiting for Nick's fixes, something will definitely change with a modern TCP stack

Yes, that's true, his improvements are not in Deadwood's builds yet. But out of curiosity, I see you get a fairly good download speed of 16 Mbps: is that close to your broadband's advertised download speed, i.e. the speed that your router connects at or reports? Or did I misinterpret the graphic, and that is just showing the connection speed, not actual download speed?

Yes, it's the connection speed, the download has never exceeded 400 kbps

This is ABIv1. If people would test it even once in a while you would be able to stop asking for ports of other software that might already exist in the official repo.

While I don't agree with abiv11, people could instead of creating potentially triple work. They could put in the effort to port what already exists in the Official AROS repo.

When you say that your download never exceeds 400 kbps, how do you measure that? Please show a screenshot of application that you are using to measure that speed.

Another question: which network driver are you using when you are getting these download speeds of 400 kbps?

Amiwell: You can monitor the speed using tools like this one:
https://misuraint...

Or this one, but it doesn't work well on OWB

@Amiwell79

Try this build. It give ~3x speedup on rtl8169.device.

Attached are results on tests with rtl8169.device

Note that fast.com by default is using 8 connections so it can fully saturate your link. Odyssey download and wget use 1 connection so thay will always be slower then fast.com test. Browsing with Odyssey uses configurable number of connection (16 by default).

FYI: The fix is the commit from Kalamatee that Neil pointed to.
