I tried compiling the new build Dopus5 v5.100 for AROS 64-bit, but I got an error towards the end of the compilation; see screenshot 1

The binaries have been saved and work fine; when I run Dopus5, I get a request for dopus5.library, but in fact dopus5.library has been found – the missing library is arosc.library, see Screenshot 2

Does arosc.library exist on AROS 64-bit? Where can I find it?

Not it does not exist on AROS 64-bit. Most likely the code has it hardcoded to open it and it has to be modified.

Thanks, serk. In the meantime, midwan has compiled Dopus5 5.100 64-bit and it’s currently being tested!

midwan said that Dopus5 v5.100 for AROS 64-bit will be officially released in the next version and will include new features and improvements as requested by some users.

Today I decided to compile the new source code, fixed for AROS by midwan and Dopus5 works perfectly on AROS 64-bit!!! With your Dopus5, the Snapshot feature, which saves the position of the icons, now works well.

One small issue: I encountered an error during compilation (see first screenshot), so some parts weren’t completed, such as certain modules like Icon.module (I then compiled Icon.module separately), which allows volume icons to be displayed correctly (see second screenshot).

Later on, I’ll try compiling your Dopus5 source code for AROS 32-bit.

I get along well with Wanderer, but I would have some trouble configuring DOpus even though there is the manual

I have compiled Dopus5 v5.100 for AROS One 32-bit; the compilation was successful, and testing is now underway to verify that it works correctly. Among the improvements, Dopus5 now allows you to save the positions of windows and icons, a frustrating issue that the old version v92 had.
