Forum software has problems enumerating the available pages in the Icon Tools thread

It's since a while that I'm facing an issue with the forum.
There's the Icon Tools thread which reports 15 pages in the General Chat subforum: https://www.arosw...forum_id=6

However, when I click on the last page: https://www.arosw...wstart=280
it shows an empty page, with no messages.
If I manually adjust the link removing 20 from the count (so, 260), I go to the 14th page: https://www.arosw...wstart=260
where it's shown that the thread has 14 pages (and I'm on the last one).

This is a known issue. It occurs when posts are deleted from the thread. As soon as other posts are added to “fill the gap,” the thread will start working properly again, but it will happen again during the next page cycle.

- Italiano-

Problema conosciuto, questo succede quando nel Thread vengono eliminate dei post, non appena si aggiungeranno altri post da "colmare il vuoto" il Thread riprenderà a funzionare bene, poi al prossimo ciclo di pagine succederà ancora.

@cdimauro

Yes, as AMIGASYSTEM mentioned, it is a known problem that I am still waiting on a solution. Alternatively, to your way of mitigating this problem, you can also change the "Sort By" button from Oldest to Latest and you will see latest entry in the thread.

There is a function in the admin to recount all the forum posts but last I tried, it doesn't seem to make a difference. It has been reported as a bug to the only developer left of this CMS.

Well understood. Unfortunately, it happened again (same thread, of course).
To me remains incredible that the developers didn’t take this obvious scenario into account. Anyway, it is was it is...
