Hardware: Ares Cube SPrint

Ares Cube SPascal 'phoenixkonsole' Papara announced that the Ares M1600 and 1000 hardware is discontinued and, instead offers the availability of the Ares Cube S computer.

The Ares Cube S offers an Intel G1620 dual-core 2.7GHZ (system is i3, i5 Xenon E2 compatible) and specifically targets AROS with a selection of hardware that is most compatible with AROS. But the hardware is also perfectly capable of running other operating systems like Linux and/or Windows.

The machine comes with Geforce GT210 graphics (with CUDA support), a 350W power supply, 4GB internal memory (16GB max), a 32GB SATA II SSD harddisk and has several USB ports.

The standard machines comes pre-installed with the latest Icaros Desktop distribution, but at the cost of a little additional fee it is also possible to (pre)install another AROS derivate.

You can order the Ares Cube S computer in the Ares-shop, and more information can be read on the webpage of the Ares Cube S.
