Software: NTPSync 2.3Print

Software

Although serk118uk's official statement tells that he's taking a pause, he managed to port NTPSync for us and uploaded his work to the archives.

NTPSync is a small commandline utility that was originally written for classic Amiga and next-gens by Heikki Linnakangas and syncs your local computer time with a special timeserver using the Network Time Protocol.

The NTPSync utility can be started with NTPSync_AROS and has a couple of (optional) parameters that (amonst others) can be provided to tell the utility what server to sync with.

Additional options are present so please read the provided NTPSync.txt in the archive to read more about them. The source is also included in the archive.

It would be cool if something like this was integrated into the Aros clock prefs Smile

Now that's an idea to make some improvement Grin

I would add it as a feature request...
