Jason McMullan's work on AHCI-support for Aros has progressed further and Jason advises us to download a new nightly in order to test those changes.
Jason work is decribed in this bounty, and in this new release he fixed some errors as well as speeded up the detection schemes on some setups.
Jason ask us to help him test his efforts so that we can help him discover bugs and make it even a better experience.
Please keep in mind that if you want to test the work Jason has done, that you first read this post, as it is very dangerous to do so. Testing the AHCI support is not for the faint-hearted and one should expect to lose data over it. Please only test this only on setups that don't mind losing data.
AHCI-support is automatically available in the nightly downloads, but some extra's settings have to be done to enable it. More about this can be read in this post.
WARNING: Make sure you are willing to lose data before consider testing this
